The following are just some of the charities that the Imperial Sovereign Court of the Emerald Empire has held benefit events for over the years.

Audria M Edwards Youth Scholarship Fund, Portland
This scholarship fund helps dozens of gay and lesbian students (and the children of gay and lesbians) better afford the increasingly expensive cost of furthering their education. In addition to undergraduate scholarships, this fund provides aid to students in vocational fields as well.

BSU LCC
The BSU at Lane Community College is an important part of student social activities and advocacy. BSU has worked in colabortation with the ISCEE on fund raising and education at LCC.

Doernbecker's Children's Hospital, Portland
The only Oregon hospital specializing in children's medicine, Doernbecker's Children's Hospital serves the needs of children throughout our state.

EL Centro Latino Americano
Non-profit organization that advocates on behalf of the Latino/Latina communities in the Lane County area. Includes Christmas toy drives for children, medical center development and many other efforts.

HIV Alliance
HIV Alliance is Lane County's central resource for HIV/AIDS prevention education, support services for Persons with HIV/AIDS, as well as many other services geared at HIV/AIDS prevention and support for those living with HIV/AIDS.

LOGIC
LOGIC is a predominantly lesbian and gay community-based group that organizes citizens to work on projects including coastal clean-ups, construction for Habitat for Humanity, etc.

MPowerment Project
Founded in the early 1990s, the MPowerment Project was a social service organization which targeted the gay male community with progressive information geared at HIV/AIDS prevention.

OSLP
Oregon Supported Living Program is a nonprofit agency providing support to adults with developmental disabilities. Individual programs are designed not only to meet the person's needs but, just as importantly, to allow him or her to realize their desires, wishes and dreams. This “person centered” approach to providing services has earned OSLP the respect and acclaim of family members, other service providers, and Oregon's Department of Human Services

PRIDE Committee/Equality Foundation
PRIDE Committee organizes the annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Celebration in Lane County. It is administered by the Equality Foundation.

PWA Foundation, Salt Lake City
PWA (Persons living with AIDS) provieds many services to their clients. In Salt Lake City PWA provides meals to people living with AIDS in Salt Lake City and is an important part of day to day care.

Scar Jasper Mountain
Scar Jasper Mountain is the area's home for abused and neglected children. They were our annual Christmas charity until recently when they received a substantial national grant.

Shanti of Oregon, Inc
Shanti was a hospice type setting founded in the early 1980s to help Persons with AIDS in Lane County. In1991, Shanti merged with the Willamette AIDS Council to form HIV Alliance.

Stop Pet Overpopulation Today
SPOT helps low income families in the area afford to keep their pets by providing vouchers to have their pets spayed and neutered. In addition, SPOT also sponsors several Feral Cat Clinics each year to spay and neuter the feral cat population in Lane County, helping keep the need for euthanasia down.

Susan B Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Portland
Susan B Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Portland provides free mamograms for low income women in the state. The money donated was part of our efforts to raise money for the Pink Ribbon Campaign and was designated for services to women in Lane County.

The Lavendar Network
The Lavendar Network was a local LGBT monthly news magazine. In addition to the magazine it also provided help line services to the local community.

Tijuana AIDS Project, Mexico
We were part of a collaborative effort in the Pacific Northwest to raise money for the Tijuana AIDS Project, which at that time had no running water in their hospice facilities. In all, enough was raised to help with the cost of running a water main to the hospice and to help with other much needed services.

VOICES
VOICES is a support group and advocacy organization for survivors of incest in Lane County.

Willamette AIDS Council
Willamette AIDS Council was the educational arm of HIV/AIDS prevention in Lane County. In 1991, Willamette AIDS Council merged with Shanti to form HIV Alliance.

Womenspace
One of Oregon's best known charities for women. Womenspace helps women and children leave abusive situations and helps them with a new start.
